Important Information for Camp

Prior to the start of Camp, parents will be sent 2 digital forms (via email) that require a signature. One is our standard Camp Authorization Form, and the other one is our Covid-19 Summer Camp Procedures. Signing these forms electronically will eliminate the need of printing forms, or signing paper copies at camp.

If you would like to read over these procedures now, just click below.
Remember, you do not need to print this. You will receive a digital copy prior to camp to sign.

Happy Customers

Here's what parents have to say about our summer camps!

My son attended the Earth, Space & Beyond Mad Science Camp last summer and absolutely loved it! The hours were convenient for our family, and the location was close by for us. We're sending him again to a Mad Science camp this upcoming summer. These are well run camps, in our experience, and I recommend them for people looking for a fun, science-based camp experience.

Both of our boys did Mad Science summer camps when they were younger, and loved the experience! It was a very fun and interactive experience for them. And counselor Beth Morrell is the best!!!

My son participated in a true "camp" with horses, swimming, fishing and hiking and he was MORE excited about this camp than anything else he's done all summer. Great job on your end!

FAQ

What is the camper to instructor ratio?

All of our camps have a Lead Instructor and an assistant. Following state and local guidelines, camps will be limited in numbers until Virginia enters Phase 2 regulations.

+

Who are the Mad Science camp instructors?

Most of our instructors are teachers on summer break, former teachers, or college students. Our instructors have experience working with large groups of elementary-aged children, have undergone an extensive background check and received summer camp specific training.

+

Where are your camps held?

Due to Covid-19, our number of In-Person Locations is limited. Please see Camp Schedule for more details. We will update our programs as the situation changes.
