Our Demonstration Fun Station Themes

Electricity
Static electricity can come from various objects like carpet, doorknobs, sweaters, and balloons. During this demonstration, kids get to witness the effect of static electricity first hand. This demonstration is so mind-blowing, it makes the hairs on the back of their necks stand up—literally!

Dry Ice
Ever wondered how the infamous fog effect is generated? You guessed it…dry ice! Not only is this extremely cold form of carbon dioxide good at fogging up a room, it is also used to illustrate several other cool effects. During this demonstration, children learn all of the chilling facts behind dry ice, in addition to conjuring up a few magical potions using the element itself.

Chemical vs. Physical Reactions
Get hands-on and discover the difference between a physical and chemical change. Create “snow,” change water to “juice” and cook up some bubbling creations!

Air Pressure
Explore how powerful air pressure can be! Kids will get to try out our vortex generators, and see a Viking ship rise. They will see how a vacuum jar can make a marshmallow grow and shaving cream explode!

Moving Motion
Children catapult into Newton's three laws of motion! They experiment with plastic eggs, cars and crash test dummies to see the real-world effects of force, gravity, and inertia.

Energy Burst
Who knew exploring energy could be so much fun?! In this booth, children learn all about energy transfer and energy conversion! They spring into action with poppers, Boinks, and jumping bugs.
